This short film documents the journey to Rwanda, Africa to visit the Critically Endangered Mountain Gorillas (Gorilla b. beringei) of the Virunga Mountains. This video is also meant to be an impassioned plea for all wildlife conservation around the world. The Art of Conservation is a non-profit group dedicated to making freely available to people around the world the much needed visual imagery that best captures nature's intrinsic beauty. Please consider donating at the above link to allow our dedicated professionals (biologists and photographers/videographers) to continue volunteering their time and effort to ensure the world will always be able to see these animals. The gorillas featured in the film are wild animals living high up in the misty Virunga Mountains of Rwanda. This particular family is known as the Susa Group: the largest family in the world, and with the only known twins (also featured in the film). Of particular note is the fact that this is this group that was originally studied by Dian Fossey, and there still exists a surviving member from her time with them! I appeal to everyone to support wildlife conservation in any way you can. I am a conservation biologist by training, and truly believe the best way to draw people in is to show them. Please help me to continue showing the world. Thank you for reading! Filmed and edited by Ryan M. Bolton, MSc The Art of Conservation © Ryan M.
